It is time again for the WHOSE Travel Charity Book Exchange.
People are asked to donate English or
Chinese books to various locations around town before or on the day of the
event.On the day of the event these books are for sale for a minimum donation
of NT 50 each.All funds raised will be donated to The Amcham Kidz Fund.There
will be live entertainment and a raffle with prizes all donated by local
businesses.
Everyone is invited to donate your old
books and pick up some new reading material enjoy some great live music while supporting
a good cause at the same time. Books can be drooped off at WHOSE Travel or any
Frog location.
When: Sunday, March 14th from 12:00 noon to
7:00 p.m.

As
most of you know, we had our annual General Assembly on Thursday, November 24.
I wanted to take a quick moment to announce and welcome our two brand new
AmCham Board Members Austin Dolezal
and Chrissy Wang.
Also, Ed Camargo moved from being a Board alternate
into a position of an active Board member.
We
are very excited to have these three on board. They are all very capable and
are bringing to the table lots of new energy and new ideas. I expect this
next year to be quite exciting.
Also,
I would like to welcome Mr. Gordon K. Lin and Mr. Kevin Putzke as alternates on
the Board of Directors. It's very comforting to know that if any of our
board members need to step down for any reason, we have two such capable people
to take their place.
I
look forward to seeing you all very soon with new and exciting new developments
that we're currently working on.
